BPL Event: Nomi Prins — Central Bank Collusion & the Financial Crisis: A Decade Later

The Boston Public Library welcomes distinguished political-financial expert, journalist, and author Nomi Prins for an online conversation moderated by BPL President David Leonard. This program, presented in partnership with the Kirstein Business Library and Innovation Center and the GBH Forum Network and sponsored by the Friends of Kirstein, is part of the BPL's Repairing America Series.

As this coming autumn coincides with the tenth anniversary of the financial crisis, Prins is very much in demand. Her senior-level international banking, advisory, and speaking experience, coupled with her multiple books on the topics, have all been very well-received by the international academic and professional community. Her books deal with the historical developments and underpinnings of international finance, economics and geo-politics, and where the three intersect. Her new book Collusion: How Central Bankers Rigged the World explores critical themes and events from the global financial crisis. It also provides prescriptive guidance with which to understand and navigate current global financial complexities and dynamics.
