Q: Is Trident open for business?
A: Yes! We are currently offering food for delivery and pick-up, and as of May 25 we can also offer curbside pick-up for online orders of books and all retail items. We can also ship book and retail orders to anywhere in the US.
Q: How are you protecting your staff and customers?
A: We take our sanitary measures very seriously. Our limited staff are required to take their temperature upon arrival, wear masks at all times, change gloves, and wash hands on a routine basis. In addition, we have enhanced cleaning schedules throughout the day and deep cleaning is conducted each night by an overnight cleaning crew. While these steps are key aspects of our guidelines, they are not inclusive of all the steps we are taking to keep our employees and customers safe.
Q: Can I pick-up a book that I ordered?
A: Yes! As of May 25, we are allowed to offer curbside pick-up for everything that we sell. The most efficient way is to place your order online and choose "Curbside Pick-up) as your shipping option. We can also ship to anywhere in the US.
Q: Can I order books that are not currently in stock at the store?
A: Yes, we are able to send you books that are in stock from our warehouse. Please note that additional shipping fees may apply if an order has to be sourced from multiple locations.
Q: Can I order 'backordered' titles?
A: We will try our best to get you every book in your order, but due to the current situation, some books will not be in stock for weeks or months. In these cases, we will cancel the book off your order and notify you of the change.
Q: How long will it take for my order to ship?
A: Due to the increase in online order volume, books sourced from our distributor's warehouse may take 5-7 days to process and ship. Books shipped from the store are usually packed and shipped within 2 days.
Please note that while USPS, FedEx, and UPS have been fairly reliable, we have had some issues with orders getting held up a bit in the shipping process.
FOOD & DRINK
Q: Do you deliver?
A: Yes! We offer food delivery directly via our Toast delivery partner. You may also order with several popular delivery services, including Uber Eats, Grubhub, DoorDash, Caviar and Postmates. All of our partners deliver to all of Boston and surrounding towns, and now offer contactless delivery.
Q: Does it matter if I order my food delivery through Toast or through my regular order delivery app, like UberEats?
A: Yes, it does matter! When you order through our direct partner, Toast, you get the food you know and love on your doorstep and we don't have to pay high commissions to third-party delivery services. Plus, you can earn and redeem Trident rewards points! It's a simple way to help Trident during this crazy time!
Q: Is it true that you can include alcohol in pick-up and delivery orders?
A: Yep - that’s great news, huh? On our pick-up and delivery menus, you can now find beer, wine by the bottle and wine by the can, including mimosas! Please note that you must order alcohol with food and a valid 21+ ID is required. Cheers!
Q: Is there anything else besides food and drink I can include in my order?
A: We’re glad you asked - yes! We have some creative add-ons listed on our pick-up menu, including a surprise puzzle, a surprise book or a bundle of greeting cards to help you #StayInReachOut, and we have some new additions on the way! Just check under the "Most Popular" section to see what's currently available.
Q: Are there ways to support Trident without buying books or food?
